iTero

We offer Cadent iTero digital scanning for our crown and bridge procedures as well as some implant restorations. This system replaces the 4-5-minute messy impression that is uncomfortable for many patients. Our office has been using the iTero digital scanner since 2007 and Dr. Mitchem is an instructor for the company.

Invisalign

Since September 2011, Mitchem Dental has been a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners that straighten teeth. Invisalign has the advantage of being completely removable to allow for normal eating and drinking. Also, you may brush and floss your teeth as normal. Invisalign treatment generally takes less time than conventional bracket and wire orthodontics.

Crowns and Bridges

Our office uses the latest technology to restore teeth that require crowns and bridges. Throughout the year, we attend seminars that detail new restorations and changes to existing restorations. We currently use Bruxzir (all-zirconia), IPS e-max, Empress (ceramics), Captek (porcelain fused to metal), and traditional full-gold crown.
